My trip to Pune in October last was very fruitful as I got to meet 4 more tatters there. From left to right are Varsha, Aparna, Myself, Lakshmi and Meghna. We had fun time together sharing patterns tips and tatting related issues. I am now looking forward to meet my Australian tatting friends in Melbourne during the Victoria Annual tatting guild meet on 5th December.

I have finally completed row 8 on both the Spring Napkins by Renulek. I have really been busy tatting this fortnight. Sometimes I wonder what happens to my collection after I am gone. IT is good that this year all my tatting is for give aways. I have now to make packets for posting the giveaways to friends. Incidentally I also tatted two edges to guet towel napkins. I shall upload their pics after this post.

I have been unwell the whole of last week due to stomach infection and had to stay indoors. It gave me plenty of time to tat. I finished this collar, inspired by Lily Adam from "just tatting". This collar has been tatted in black for my friend in Philippines who had indicated she would prefer it in black. So here it is for you Menchie. Hope you like it. It will soon go out to you.

June was a good month for tatting. I tatted and tatted and tatted and gave away most of the stuff. But unfortunately did not photograph them. There is still a lot more that remains yet to be photographed and shared. I intend doing so shortly. Isn't it a shame that I have not tried my hands at designing? It does occur to me at times to start designing but I see such beautiful tatting all the time online that before I let my imagination run wild and pick up my tatting tools, I'm pulled into crafting one or two designs that catch my eye and there goes my determination to design my own patterns. Thus I get back to sharing what I see online with due credit to the original designers.
